Objective:To provide knowledge on recent technological advances in culture of aquatic animals and their health management.
Pre Event Description :
Aquaculture and health management of aquatic animals are emerging field in fisheries. Training on technological advances in both these field to fisheries students is very much necessary. To enhance knowledge of the B.F.Sc. students, a five days online vocational training programme on “Technological Advances in Aquaculture and Aquatic Animal Health Management” is organized by the Department of Aquaculture. During the training programme, well known expert from all over India and also from foreign country will deliver lectures. The training programme will cover important areas such as culture of aquatic animals, important diseases, disease diagnosis, bioinformatics, biotechnology, fish immunology, water quality management, recirculating aquaculture system and fish pharmacology. This training programme will help students to enhance their knowledge on recent technological advances in culture of aquatic animals and their health management.
